“As a first-time homebuyer, I was very nervous about starting my search. A good friend recommended Nickie, and I'm so glad I listened! “We had been looking for homes on and off for over a year. We got outbid on at least 6 properties. We are first time home buyers but did not have unrealistic expectations. Before working with Nickie Evans, we were working with a realtor that did not have our best interest in mind. He just kept blaming the strong market for why we were not getting a house. Then at the start of 2016, I contacted Nickie, who I had known previously but never worked with on a realty capacity. She was professional, kind and enthusiastic. We met in a coffee shop to discuss budget, what I was looking for, and strategy. I took home some properties that currently fit the criteria and then were in correspondence about other properties as they went on the market. When we first met I told Nickie about a coming soon sign that I had seen and that this house looked very desirable. A few weeks later when the house had gone on the market, Nickie had been in correspondence with the realtor and made us feel that she would do anything for us to get this house. we put in a very competitive offer and while our offer wasnt accepted, we put in a back up offer. Again, Nickie did everything, even after the offer wasnt accepted, to possibly get us the house and continued correspondence with the seller's realtor. We were bummed but felt in such good hands that she really would do anything for us to get a house. Finally we put in an offer on a house and it got accepted. We thought it would never happen! Through the whole process, Nickie was so helpful and continued to advocate for us. I would recommend her to anyone who is searching for a house and especially others like us, a young couple looking to live in an urban area.”
